Glasgow based award winning photographer Gavin Macqueen is a passionate and committed artist with an instantly recognisable, visually creative style.  Born in Ayrshire, he moved to Caithness, the dramatic land beyond The Highlands, during his teens and the influence of these times are often seen through themes of escape and freedom which filter throughout his work.

 

His striking images span genres of fashion, music, theatre, film, fine art, portraiture and landscape. In demand throughout the UK and further afield, Gavin is available for assignments and commissions. His work has graced gallery walls, magazine covers and band albums. Macqueen has a diverse, imaginative approach yielding high impact results.

 

Following on from eight successful solo exhibitions, he has a number of exciting projects underway. Macqueen is currently working on a book showcasing an alternative vision of Scotland through fashion and landscape.
